This set of EXP75 Medium/Heavy EXP Coated Phosphor Bronze from D'Addario is the company's heaviest-gauged coated mandolin set. Designed in cooperation with Ronnie McCoury, it is ideal for hard-driving, percussive playing styles which require increased tension for maximum volume.

The strings are manufactured with EXP-coated phosphor bronze wire wrapped around a steel core wire. This advanced construction delivers improved strength and pitch stability while maintaining the familiar uncoated tone and adding up to four times more life than with traditional strings. The EXP75s feature loop-end construction for a universal fit.
